Nazarene Youth International
Nazarene Youth International (NYI) is dedicated to equipping and inspiring the next generation of leaders in the Church of the Nazarene. For their quadrennial Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC), NYI sought to create an experience that would connect with over 10,000 young attendees on a deeper, more meaningful level. Partnering with Prelude, NYI aimed to craft a compelling theme, impactful messaging, and unforgettable creative assets that would elevate NYC to new heights.

The Ask

To develop a unifying theme and brand identity for NYC that resonated with youth, fostered engagement, and underscored the life-changing impact of the event.

Defining the Vision

Our goal was to design an experience that would inspire and energize attendees while highlighting the spiritual and community-building opportunities NYC provides. By combining strategic storytelling, cinematic visuals, and a bold design system, we sought to create a memorable and transformative event.

Developing the Theme

We collaborated with NYI to create a theme that resonated with the aspirations and challenges of today’s youth. The resulting branding and messaging set the tone for every aspect of the event, unifying the experience and amplifying its impact.

Engaging Promo Videos

To build anticipation, we produced a series of cinematic promo videos that revealed the event’s location and introduced the theme. These videos captured the energy and excitement of NYC, sparking interest and driving attendance.

Telling a Transformative Story

One of the event’s standout moments was a video featuring Chester, a passionate pastor’s son from a small Nebraska town. Through Chester’s journey—connecting with new friends and fulfilling a lifelong dream of meeting his favorite band—we showcased the profound and personal impact NYC has on its attendees.

Designing a Digital Presence

The NYC website served as the digital home for the event, offering intuitive navigation and engaging visuals to inform and excite attendees. The site played a vital role in promoting the event and providing a seamless experience for registrations and updates.

The Impact

The Nazarene Youth Conference exceeded all expectations, with attendance surpassing 10,000 youth—making it one of the most successful NYCs to date. The theme, branding, and storytelling elevated the event to new heights, creating an experience that inspired attendees and celebrated their spiritual journey in a powerful way.
